Safeguarding  - All members of the team behind the scenes are registered on the UK Government's rolling DBS database and are constantly updated in line with current KCSIE guidelines and in safeguarding training. Child protection and data protection are extremely important to us.

 

1. The Child’s User Account.

 

To become a member and gain full site access you need to create a ‘“USER ACCOUNT” with LemonWedge Film Club / Academy linked to an email address where notifications are sent.  Please keep log in details private, and please instill in your child to close their sessions if using the site on a public device  as anyone accessing the site and performing actions will be doing so on your behalf in your name. You will be solely and fully responsible for all activities that occur under your User Account.  You may not allow adults to access the website as a member, please be diligent to prevent unauthorised access to your child’s account. 

 

 

2. Payments for Subscription Fees

 

All Payments made are processed by www.wix.com

Payments can only be processed using the credit or debit cards acceptable to Wix. Payment is due from the moment an order is accepted. We aim to debit money from your account within three working days after receiving your Order.

 

We reserve the right to accept or refuse any payment made in any form.

 

Where appropriate we will re-credit to your account any sum debited by us.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy regarding use of your data (including credit card data). You might also have your credit card company do security checks to confirm it is you making the payment.

Cardholders under the age of 18 are not permitted to make any payment to us and we reserve the right to request confirmation of the age of any person attempting to process a payment to us.

 

3. Cancellation and Subscription Payments 

 

You may discontinue or restart your monthly subscription at anytime just email us at contact@lemonwedgefilm.com.  

Cancellation of paid services will come into effect at the end of your paid monthly subscription. Once processed we will not charge you for any additional subscription renewals. We will keep previous members profiles active for 3 months but reserve the right to remove/delete profile information and content as necessary.

 

If you have any questions or concerns regarding a payment made please do get in touch and we will do all we can to resolve the issue.

4. Inappropriate Materials 

 

Users on the website must not upload inappropriate material.  We hold the right to remove, change and monitor content and comments posted on the site on any occasion we deem necessary.  We do not endorse or approve member’s views or content posted, and if we deem material breaches our terms of use we will excercise removal and may terminate the account and cancel the subscription without refund.    Material deemed “inappropriate” is anything abusive, bigoted, obscene, immoral, defamatory, hateful; might be offensive to others, is illegal or promoting unlawful activity.  

This also includes violating copyright and intellectual property of others, or disclosure of another persons details or using their image without permission, or in the case of a child under 13 the adult responsible for giving their consent.

 

 

5. Copyright Ownership:

 

We ask our members to understand and adhere to copyright infringement laws when submitting their projects to the site.   All material contained within the website is covered by a disclaimer and protected by copyright laws.

LemonWedge Film Club owns the copyright on any content created for us and by us and members give their permission for LemonWedge Film Club to use any material submitted for promotional purposes.  Any members wishing not to have their work not to be promoted or not featured can email us on : contact@lemonwedgefilm.com

 

Content and designs on the website are generated and owned by LemonWedge Film Club or licensed to us in website functionality by Wix.  You are not permitted to reproduce or distribute any of the materials elsewhere to exploit the content online without written permission of LemonWedge Film Club.   LemonWedge Film Club reserves all copyright and trademark in its website. 

 

Downloadable content and teaching materials can be used for personal use by the members.

LemonWedge Film Club reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate any aspect of the website, and/or cancel your access to any of the LemonWedge Film Club (including removal of any materials created by you in connection with the LemonWedge Film Club) for any reason. 

 

We may modify the T&Cs of this site at any time.  You will receive notice of any modifications.

 

 

7. Relationship

 

The LemonWedge Film Club Terms, and your use of the website, do not, and shall not be construed to create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between LemonWedge Film Club and you unless otherwise agreed.

Away from website we encourage our members to produce their own stories and films in a safe and controlled manor.

 

A safety briefing video is available to all members.  We recommend adult supervision  whist members are undertaking any filming action. 

 

LemonWedge Film Club Ltd will not be held accountable for any accidents or injury incurred whilst filming.

We treat your personal information with great care and in accordance with GDPR which came into force 2018.
